Cynthia and I recently traveled to Reno for medical reasons; however, we made the most of the trip by visiting Tahoe which is where we went on our honeymoon. So, it was fun to visit.

Hubba, Hubba! Cynthia at Emerald Bay.

We never did get many pics of the place we stayed on our honeymoon in Tahoe. So, this time we made sure to snap some photos.

On the way back to Reno we stopped of at the Mormon Station to learn a little church history.

And we just had to stop at the Chocolate Factory to sample some tasty morsels...

and to check out the huge prospector dude.

WoooWeee!

Cynthia and I fully enjoyed our week long vacation; however, the two days of Montezuma's Revenge I faced after the trip wasn't all that exciting.
Enjoy the pics!

First Stop: Acapulco
A little smelly and a little dirty, but still fun.

Second Stop: Zihuatanejo
This is a cute little town; however, we didn't take any pictures of the town. This was Cynthia's favorite place as it's so pretty.
This is a boat Cynthia and I rented for the day. Leo was the driver and spoke decent English so that made things easier. He took just the two of us fishing and snorkeling in this little boat. Luckily, the boat didn't stall in the middle of the ocean as the waves were rather large and the ride a bit rocky. But, it was fun and adventurous as we had no clue where he was taking us and we were simply glad we weren't dumped in the ocean and left for dead.

Third Stop: Puerto Vallarta
A fun, Americanized city. Cynthia and I ventured out by taking a taxi to a nearby beach; however, I wish I knew a little more Spanish to call the taxi driver's bluff. Luckily, we didn't get taken.

Whale Watching!

Argh! I forgot to remove my flip flops. So, the whole time para sailing I was fighting not to lose them and soon got a cramp.

Don't worry Cynthia. He looks like an honest guy who I am sure we can trust with our lives.

Last Stop: Cabo San Lucas
Cabo is also very Americanized and clean. It was a fun port as it looked more like Lake Powell than the traditional Mexico look.

Cynthia and I sailed on this boat. It was pretty fun as we did an actual race with another boat, similar to the America's Cup. It's amazing how fast you can travel with just wind.

Our beautiful and loving grandma passed away this month. What an amazing life she lived and what a legacy she will leave behind.
This was the first time in many years we had this many extended family gathered at one time.
Pictured below are the siblings telling stories about grandma and grandpa and their childhood.
1) Assume the proper launching position.
2) Gracefully jump up and out into the untouched snow.
3) Flap arms up and down.
4) Pause to smile cheesily for the camera.
5) Enjoy.
Oh, the memories!
Sorry it's taken so long to post these pics. It was fun to see everyone again. I look forward to our annual golf outing...in Maui right?
